ORDERING WITH US

When placing an order for the first time, you may be offered the option to register with us. Please note that products that are placed in your shopping basket are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers.

After ordering with us, we will send you an acknowledgment of your order via email. This email will include the details of the products you have ordered from us, your unique order number and delivery details. When a product is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email so that you may track the delivery of your order.

All products listed on our website are subject to availability. We may choose not to accept your order for any reason without liability to you. We will inform you as soon as possible if a product you have ordered is not available or if we are for some reason unable to fulfil your order. If we are unable to supply any of the products you have ordered with us we will refund you in full if payment has been made. You may purchase products on the website only for personal use and not for resale.

The images of the products on our site are for illustrative purposes only. We have made every effort to display the colours accurately, however we cannot guarantee that your computer’s display of the colours is an accurate reproduction. Although we have made every effort to be as accurate as possible, sizes and measurements may also vary. When purchasing a product from us you are making a contract with il Duomo S.r.l. Acceptance of your order and formation of a contract of sale takes place on dispatch of your order.

ORDER AMENDMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS

Once your order has been placed we may not be able to add, remove, or edit the quantity of items. If you wish to cancel your order please contact us as soon as possible at customer@ilduomo.it. In certain circumstances, we may be able to cancel or amend your order if it has not yet been prepared for dispatch. PRICES

Prices on the website are inclusive of IT VAT at the prevailing rate of 22% if displayed in Europa EUR (€), and exclusive of VAT if displayed outside CE. Regardless of how the prices are displayed through the website, VAT will be applied only to orders shipped to the European Economic Area, and will not be levied on orders exported to other destinations.

Prices for our products may change from time to time, but changes will not affect any order which we have confirmed with a dispatch confirmation. While we try to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. The listed price of a product does not include delivery charges. Please ensure to check the final price of sale before submitting the order form. If you order products from our website for delivery outside of the CE, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes which are applied when the delivery reaches that destination. Please note that we have no control over these charges and we cannot predict their amount. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes.

PAYMENT

We accept payment via Paypal and credit cards. Payment of the product prices and relevant costs for shipping and delivery must be made by using one of the payment methods indicated on the order form.

Payment for the purchase of products, and the corresponding costs for shipping and delivery as indicated in the order form, will be charged to you only once the order is completed.

You confirm that the payment card that is being used is yours or that you have been specifically authorised by the owner of the payment card to use it. All payment card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

When you select the PayPal option at checkout, you will be directed to the PayPal site to ‘Log In’ to your PayPal account and review the total amount to pay before clicking ‘Pay Now’. Once you click ‘Pay Now’ your transaction is complete and you will be returned to our website.

We have the right to cancel your purchase without prior notification. Examples of occasions we may choose to cancel your purchase are: your card details have been flagged by our fraud screening processes or are declined by our fraud screening processes.

Furthermore, we take reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the website.

If you are a customer whose credit/debit card is not denominated in EURO (€) making a payment from the version of the website displaying prices in that corresponding currency, the final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer processes the transaction. All orders are placed with Il Duomo S.r.l., which is a IT entity. Your card issuer or payment method provider may therefore apply other international bank charges. We have no control and cannot predict the amount of these charges.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We ship to many major countries, but we are unable to ship to all destinations globally. For detailed product shipping and delivery procedures please see the Shipping and Delivery section of the Customer Care area for further information, or look at the Checkout to see whether we can ship to you. Shipping times are estimates, and your order may be delayed by any import and customs procedures that may apply at your shipping destination.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

If you are not entirely happy with your order then you may request to return products within fourteen calendar days of delivery by contacting us. Please see the Returns and Refunds section of the Customer Care area for further information.

In order to be eligible for refund, returned products should not have been used, worn, washed or damaged, and identification tags should still be attached. The products should be returned in the same condition in which you received them using packaging of adequate size and strength to ensure they are not damaged in transit, and preferably in their original packaging.

You are advised to obtain and retain proof of postage until after your refund has been processed. Please note that it can take up to 10 working days for us to receive your return and up to 14 business days to process it.
Returns will be quality checked on receipt, and items that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and may be sent back to you and/or a refund refused.

We offer free returns within the allowable period.  If you are returning a product because of an error on our part or because it is damaged or defective we will refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and pay your costs of returning it to us.

Please be aware shipping costs will not be refunded in case of return and we don't offer exchanges. 

We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for the purchase. We will process any refunds due to you as soon as possible, and in any case within fourteen days of receiving your returned items.

In case of a defective or incorrect item shipped by error by Il Duomo S.r.l. you are kindly asked to follow the same return process but please specify on the email the reason for the return. You can email photographs to us to demonstrate the defect or error.

Packages for returns from outside the EU must include on the outside a completed customs declaration (indicating that the package is a return of goods) and commercial pro forma invoice which will be provided to you by our Customer Care team.

Please allow sufficient time for processed refunds to appear on your card or bank statement. Depending on the card issuer this may take up to twenty working days. Refunds of orders made by bank transfer will be made to the original bank account as soon as possible following receipt of the returned items and provision of your bank account details, and in any case within fourteen days.

In the case of payments converted into the payment currency from other currencies, it is possible that any refunded amount may differ from the original amount paid on ordering due to changes in the relevant exchange rate in the intervening period of time. These differences will not be refunded.

Returns authorised by Il Duomo S.r.l. must be shipped from the same country to which the original order was shipped.

Authorized returns must be shipped using the carrier suggested by Il Duomo S.r.l. in the return instructions and must arrive at the address indicated for returns. Il Duomo S.r.l. reserves the right not to accept returns if you use a different carrier and if the delivery of the parcel entails extra costs for Il Duomo S.r.l. or requires collection from a carrier’s branch office.

Il Duomo S.r.l. reserves the right to refuse returns that have not been properly authorized or that have not been sent in accordance with the return policy. 

USE OF WEBSITE

The access to and use of ilduomo.it is exclusively for personal purposes, which should in no way be connected to any trade, business or professional activity. We shall not be considered liable for any use of the website and its contents made by you that is not compliant with the laws and regulations in force. You may purchase products on the website only for personal use and not for resale.

You agree that the information that you provide when you register is true, accurate, current, and complete in all respects. Should any of your registration information change please notify us immediately.
