
In its new collection, Casablanca draws inspiration from ancient Greece. Titled "Venus as a Boy," this collection focuses on reimagining classical themes. The name is borrowed from the Björk song of the same title, which itself represents a reinterpretation of Venus, who was a Roman reimagining of the Greek goddess Aphrodite. "Venus as a Boy" serves as a significant metaphor for the essence of the collection and has a deep personal connection to Charaf Tajer, the founder and creative director of the brand. The song, with its unique arrangement that combines classical strings with an almost Arabic influence and a distinctive nineties drum pattern, alongside lyrics that deeply resonate with Tajer, has been a key inspiration.
