Australian sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann have built their reputation on a winning formula, combining airy, hippie-chic inspired dresses on one hand and diva-worthy swimsuits on the other.The success of the Zimmermann brand was almost accidental. It all started when young Nicky decided to sell the dresses she made herself at Sydney’s Paddington Market, a local market for emerging young designers. From a stall of crochet embroideries and bohemian dresses, her talent quickly caught the attention of the leading magazines, turning Zimmermann into a ready-to-wear brand with boutiques all over the world.
