MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon: A New Expression of Movement
MM6 Maison Margiela’s experimental vision meets Salomon’s technical heritage once again. For Autumn/Winter 2026, the collaboration that began in 2022 enters a new chapter: signature styles return in fresh colourways, while two new creations explore the boundaries between urban footwear and outdoor functionality.
Launching on 22 October, the first drop reimagines the XT-MM6 in three colourways: a vibrant multicolour, a combination of tapioca and violet, and a deep urban green. Making its debut, the MM6 CROSSDERBY pairs a classic Derby upper in shiny black leather with a technical outdoor sole and Salomon’s drawstring lacing system. Formal codes meet sporting ingenuity in a design that brings experimentation into everyday dressing. The returning XT-15 Backpack completes the offering, equipped with a white rain cover featuring a black logo.
The second drop, arriving on 17 November, introduces the MM6 XT-BOOT. A soft inner shoe wraps the foot, while an upper inspired by a puffer jacket’s hood can be worn open around the calf or drawn in for a closer fit. Available in Vanilla Ice, Black and Dusty Yellow, the new silhouette joins the ACS PRO 3, updated in Black and Green Gables, and Cosmic Sky, Heron and Violet Tulip.
Across two releases, technical expertise and unconventional design come together in a collection that approaches movement as a space for freedom and experimentation.
