Under the creative direction of Chemena Kamali, Chloé continues its dialogue with contemporary art by presenting Konkursas by Francesca Allen, the second edition of Chloé Arts.
The initiative reinforces the Maison’s commitment to moving beyond fashion, supporting visual narratives that question identity, femininity, and creative freedom. Presented at Paris Photo 2025, Konkursas stems from a journey to Lithuania, where Allen documented the Konkursas Pasaulio Ilgaplaukės, an annual competition celebrating the longest hair in the world. Drawn to the event’s suspended aesthetic—poised between beauty pageant and folkloric ritual—the artist traveled to Kaunas in November 2024 with a Lithuanian friend, immersing herself directly in the atmosphere of the competition.
