STUART WEITZMAN WOMAN

Born in 1941 on Long Island, New York, Stuart Weitzman grew up learning from his father, Seymour Weitzman, at the Mr. Seymour shoe factory in Haverhill, Massachusetts. In 1989, he launched his eponymous brand. Since then, most Stuart Weitzman collections have been produced in Elda, Spain, a small town in the Alicante province renowned for its shoemaking craftsmanship.One of the few designers who is also a skilled shoemaker, he quickly became known for shoes that perfectly combine style and functionality. Today, Stuart Weitzman shoes are synonymous with elegance and comfort.In 2017, Stuart retired after more than fifty years in the footwear industry. The Stuart Weitzman brand is now part of Tapestry, a New York–based house of brands.
