A committed animal rights advocate, Stella McCartney does not use leather or fur, preferring innovative eco-friendly materials. Her unmistakable style, marked by elegant tailoring and designed for a feminine and self-confident woman, emerges in all her creations, from clothing to accessories. The daughter of a famous family, raised between London and the English countryside, Stella McCartney graduated from Central Saint Martins in 1995 and just two years later was appointed Creative Director of the house of Chloé, earning praise from both the public and critics. In 2001, she presented her first eponymous collection in Paris.
