Dedicated to the “philosophers of absolute elegance,” men devoted to the art of flawless craftsmanship, Kiton was founded in Arzano in 1956 by Ciro Paone. Today, under the leadership of his grandson Antonio de Matteis, the brand seems to have paused time: the Kiton workshop employs around 400 tailors working through traditional production processes—cutting, sewing, pressing, and hand-finishing intricate details—leaving nothing to chance (or to an automated machine arm).
