Following news of war in Ukraine earlier this year, creative director Walter Chiapponi wanted to create a collection that stripped back all things frivolous and create pieces that focused on only essential pieces. By chopping the general silhouette down to a sort of 90’s reference , he put his focus on tailoring and sartorial precision — creating a series of masculine like suits paired with matching light coats. Much focus was given to outerwear as these were followed by shearling jackets, capes , trench coats and biker leather jackets , crafted with a precision that really highlights the beauty of Italian tailoring. Each look included separates that were just as essential as a full look , as well as on their own, perfectly suiting the narrative of clothing that is essential and sensible for the season , while being stylist at the same time.
